Give to Caesar What is Caesar's - A message re: COVID-19

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come… Isaiah 35:3-4a

As we begin, let’s start with prayer. Let’s pray throughout the duration of the COVID-19 outbreak. Public health emergencies like the COVID-19 can cause fear and anxiety. Prepare, but don’t panic. This passage reminds us that, in every situation, God does not want us to fear, for He is with us.

As you may or may not be aware, Arizona’s Governor Doug Ducey, today issued a “Stay at home” order through April 30, 2020. The order takes effect on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 5:00 pm for all activity that is not essential.

In this Executive Order, it defines essential activity in Section 4.f. as “Engaging in constitutionally protected activities such as speech and religion, and any legal or court process, provided that such is conducted in a manner that provides appropriate physical distancing to the extent feasible.”

As a result, Crocus Fellowship Church will continue to provide live streaming of its’ Sunday morning and Wednesday night services. In addition, our doors will be open to those who are unable or do not have the means or resources necessary to attend virtually. It should be noted that those and/or loved ones with compromised immune systems; those and/or loved ones that are considered high risk for contracting upper respiratory infections, such as COVID-19, emphysema, bronchitis or pneumonia; as well as those and/or loved ones that are currently experiencing a fever or signs of a cold or flu should not attend services in person to ensure the health and safety of this community.
